Perfect day for fishing

Headed up to Clear Creek again since the weather turned nice and a 70 degree day was in store.  I started the day up high and worked my way downstream, fishing three different spots.  The flows were around 60cfs and the water was clear up high and more and more stained as you went downstream.  I used an Amy's Ant all day and caught fish all day.  The first spot gave up 11, the second gave up 13, and the third gave up 11 more to make one great day of fishing.

Rod:  Iwana 12' 6/4
Line:  Furled 12'
Fly that Worked:  Amy's Ant

  1. Wow, amazing Kevin! Great photos. I would have guessed that you weren't fishing the lower canyon judging by the size of the fish. Tenkara or otherwise?
