Eleven Mile Canyon

Headed down to Eleven Mile Canyon for the day with Mark after flirting with the decision to fish at all because of the forecast for thunderstorms.  We get to the canyon and have sunny skies to start the day.  Our first spot is an old favorite and Mark fishes downstream while I fish up.  Mark ends up catching a dozen while I bring in five but with a couple of really nice thick 14"+ fish.  We decide to try another spot upstream to finish the day.
Second spot is  something a little different in that it's more pocket water in nature.  Once again mark kills it and gets another dozen while I manage just seven.  I did land a nice 15" Rainbow to finish off the day though.  Over the coarse of the day I landed fish on Amy's Ant, BWO, Caddis and a Emerger while Mark landed his on BWO, San Juan Worm, Copper Bead Head Nymph and Girdle bug.

Great day of fishing in the canyon!
