Tough day on the Colorado

Fished the Colorado at a couple different spots today with Mark but had a tough day of it.  The first spot was Byers Canyon where I managed to catch one small one despite my walking a pretty good distance.  Mark landed just under ten in the same time before we pick up and move to inside R.M.N.P. to fish the upper Colorado.  We both figured we would pick up in action on the upper section but sdaly I could only manage to catch 5 more for the day while Mark pulled in well over a dozen fish in the same time.  I guess sometimes it's just not your day.  Still great to get out and do some fishing with a buddy.

  1. Kevin, you've hit a homerun again. Please talk a little about your photography. I'd like to frame every picture you post and this is on top of the list. Love RMNP.

    2. I just wrapped up a 4-day trip with friends to RMNP. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the west side, but the fishing in Moraine Park and Glacier Creek was very good! The Colorado and East Inlet creeks will be priority destinations the next trip. But I regret not making it this time around...especially after seeing your photos!
