Eleven Mile Canyon

Despite the forecast for rain all day, Mark and I headed down to Eleven Mile Canyon.  The flows were low and clear and the skies were cloudy.  Except for about a half hour of rain around 3pm we steered clear of the bad weather.  We fished a couple spots for the most part with each of us getting two at the first spot.  The second spot we fish for the back half of the day and get to a pool where we can see a dozen fish feeding on the surface.  We each end up trying a couple dozen different patterns trying to get the fish to eat our flies during a really long hatch that was going on.  Mark ends up with just one from this pool, while I manage to get six from this pool on five different patterns.  Good day in the canyon with a friend.
