Cache La Poudre

Had a beautiful Saturday to fish so I picked the Poudre and got to the river around 10:30am.  The sun was out and just a hint a wind to start the day.  I tie on a Amy's Ant and start working my way upstream at the normal starting spot.  The water is stained but low and I start getting fish when I target the slow eddies on the side.  I pick up eleven fish on the first stretch, then walk back downstream to fish the other side.  Sadly the second stretch only gives up three before moving on.  I try two more spots and I get four more at each before the wind picks up and I decide to call it a day.  Great day on the water!
